The KDAA established in 1948 caters for pleasure, specimen and match fishing. With waters within eight mile radius of Kelvedon, in mid – Essex located between Chelmsford and Colchester. Accessible from the A12.
KDAA is a friendly angling club that provides some of the best uncrowded fishing in Essex.
We have eleven still waters that are open all year round and fishing on stetches of the river Blackwater
Night fishing is allowed on six of the still waters.
Adult subscription is £85 per annum with many concessions.
Please note that all our waters are member only waters and we do not issue day tickets. Members may purchase Guest tickets.

As many of you will be aware, the KDAA supports the Angling Coaching Initiative (ACI) that introduces youngsters to our sport. As their upcoming coaching day has had to move from the planned venue the KDAA has stepped in to avoid disappointing the budding anglers....
Membership is closed for the 2021/22 season. New members may apply as from the 14th February 2022 for the new season starting 15th March 2022 as can existing members wishing to rejoin. There will be a waiting list for new members wishing to apply for a night permit....
Seabrooks will be closed to members for a Charity Pigeon Shoot from 8am to 10am on Monday 27th September. Anyone fishing overnight on the Sunday must be away from the water and carpark by 8am.
